Principal’s Message

To Our Current and Prospective Parents, Students, and Families,

First of all, a very warm and enthusiastic WELCOME to Saint Clement Catholic School (SCCS) – a place where faith and community bring EXCELLENCE! As the wise African adage goes, “It takes a village to raise a child.” While I begin my second year as Principal here at Saint Clement Catholic School, I feel blessed and energized to be joining such an amazing team of administrative professionals, as well as a dedicated staff and faculty, who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our children. In partnership with all of you, our strong, faithful, and lively community, it is our greatest responsibility and our ministry to live and carry out our school’s mission, vision, values, and goals.  With the help of our forward-thinking educators and school administrators, Saint Clement is able to offer a wider range of alternatives to conventional teaching, in order to pave the way for differentiated, engaging, and higher learning. I believe that setting high academic expectations, appropriately challenging our students in both curriculum and character, as well as providing suitable support systems to ensure that each student works at their highest God-given potential, will provide for us our thriving “village” that continues to foster the growth and development of the whole child.

Personally, my heart has always been in the importance of educating, nurturing, and empowering our children to become good-hearted, fully prepared, and fully equipped citizens in today’s (and tomorrow’s) society. In recent years, I had been blessed with the opportunity to be a faith formation/CCD teacher, a peer minister to the youth of our community, and a Confirmation teacher. For over ten years, I have had the pleasure of teaching in both public and private schools, elementary and secondary education, and of working with and within diverse school communities. In my cherished years of teaching here at Saint Clement Catholic School, one can feel the genuine care, appreciation, and support, permeating within our school walls, making it a very unique and extraordinary place to be.

With God’s help, let us continue to come together, not only to celebrate the traditions of the past, but to also embrace the changes and challenges of the future. I am looking forward to working with you and our students for each blessed and fulfilling year to come. It is with great pleasure and honor that I am given this chance to serve all of you.

Faithfully yours,

Anne D. Crowthers, Principal
